Very nice.
This was the year I deserved the winter,
and when it came there was nothing
I could say—
I could not send it back.It had come for me.

Phew. This weekend has been great. Started off with Brandon climbing atop an abandoned warehouse ^
Then we spent all of Sunday out and about, saw “Oz the Great and Powerful” which was okay. I kept wanting to scratch Glinda’s eyes out, because her single interpretation of innocent and pure was to have only one facial expression and move like a stilted tin man.
Then, oh then, we spent $90 on books and it was beautiful, even though they didn’t have everything I was looking for.
After that, back to the theater for a much better “Oblivion,” which was excellent. Beautiful score, and I fucking cried at the end. Found an abandoned scarf as we were walking out, but the owners were nowhere to be seen. So new scarf, and laundry was done.
Finally got a little cooler and some ice so now we have cold things to eat!
In Ohio still, Zanesville/Sonora, but went up to Canton and Euclid. Last week we were up in PA and touched New York a bit as well. And I do say that Belmont, NY, is quite lovely and evokes all sorts of Bradbury-esque nostalgia in me, and I wouldn’t mind settling down in a place like that whenever we do eat around to settling down.
